Engagement Session at Midtown Crossings

Amanda and Dane’s engagement session is just one of the many engagement sessions I have during this busy and full Fall season!!! And although the weather had been rainy and cool for weeks, for their session it was actually a little toasty and humid outside. Yet still the leaves were starting to change (even if just a little!!!) and they made for a great backdrop for their perfect fall outfits! We started out at a nearby downtown park where we could relax, enjoy the weather and chat all about them and their big day. Oh and Dane can do an amazing fake laugh! 😂 🤭  Afterwards, we headed to the rooftop of the Midtown Crossing Condos. There we met up with Dane’s mom and a very excited little pup. Oh my gosh you guys, just wait till you see these adorable puppy eyes!

I always say it, and I’ll say it again.

Please bring me your fur-babies!!

I don’t care how cray cray they can be…we’ll capture some of the cutest photos of you with them! GUARANTEED! I mean really, come on, everyone needs a puppy for their photos!! (If I was Oprah it’d be something like…’A puppy for you, and for you and a puppy for you!’ 🤣)

They are getting married next year in West Omaha at the Shadow Ridge Country Club, just a few miles from my house. And I can’t stinking wait!!!

Amanda and Dane….I  just adore you! I seriously had so much fun with you and of course your new fur-baby!!!

PS – For my photographer friends. I shot this session on a mix of film and digital. Details below:

And yes, sometimes they get a little crazy but still cute as heck!

  1. Wendy says:

Great pics, you are very talented

  2. Michelle says:

Great pictures!  You’re right about puppies,  we always bring all 3 of ours when we get family pictures.  After all they are part of our family.

  3. Cristy says:

What a cute couple!! Great photos!

  4. […] Before they spent their first day as husband and wife at the Shadow Ridge Country Club in the heart of West Omaha, Dane and Amanda’s relationship extended back to middle school. They grew up together but it wasn’t until Amanda took a leap and moved to Chicago for school that Dane took his own leap. That leap lead to the next 6 plus years they would spend together. To hear more about their engagement story check out their Midtown Omaha engagement session >> Engagement Session at Midtown Crossings. […]
