Alaskan Wedding : Tom + Seni

If you would’ve told me in early 2016 that I’d be going to Alaska let alone photographing an Alaskan wedding, I wouldn’t have believed you. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always wanted to visit Alaska but I’ve had a few other destinations higher up on my list. But I was so wrong for not having Alaska at the top! And I owe Tom and Seni so many thank you’s for inviting me to be part of their day. It was not only a complete honor but it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had traveling.

Family and Friends traveled from near and far to celebrate their love. Each guests stayed in a private cabin at the lovely Knik River Lodge nestled into the woods of Palmer Alaska. There, they were surrounded by the beautiful mountains, endless forests and moose! And yes, I saw a couple too! Post-ceremony close family and friends joined the newlyweds for a plated dinner at the lodge, after which, they danced the night away under the clear starry night.

Here are a few of my favorite images from their amazing Alaskan wedding!

The stone of Seni’s wedding ring was the stone from Tom’s grandparent’s engagement ring. Such a beautiful and special heirloom.
